XPEL FUSION PLUS is the only approved ceramic coating for use over XPEL paint protection film. While XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS paint protection film does come pre-coated from factory, it is pretty common practice to layer FUSION PLUS over it to increase the depth of the coating. Additionally, decontaminating older paint protection film and re-coating with FUSION PLUS is one surefire way to rejuvenate the film, increase its longevity and restore ease of cleaning. Paint and film that has been sealed with FUSION PLUS ceramic coating stays clean longer.
